Installation - Storage
Before any installation, make sure you have read thethe information described in the "important information" section of this site
Gazebo installation
> Installation on the deck of a SkyTrek, SkyFall or SkyShield model structure (2-part models) without the roof extension option:
- Unfold the half structures on the deck then inflate them gradually to the operating pressure value - information printed near by the inflation valve - or until the relief valve is triggered if there is no operating pressure information.
- Overlap the half-ring structures face to face and hang the side ropes using the shorter ropes first, on each side, starting from the top
- Raise the top of the structure until the structure is vertical, then spread each half structure until the ropes on both sides are taut.
- Attach the structure firmly to the deck of the boat using your ropes and the rings at the base of the structure and the other rings located on each side to ensure maximum stability .
> Installation on the deck of a SkyTrek, SkyFall or SkyShield model (2-part structures) with a roof extension option:
The roof extension is supplied with bespoke ropes to extend the structure.
- Unfold the half structures and the roof extension on the bridge. Inflate them gradually to the operating pressure value - information printed near by the inflation valve - or until the relief valve is triggered if there is no operating pressure information.
- Overlay a half structure, covering fabric towards the sky, on the roof extension, covering fabric towards the deck. Attach the top of the half structure to one end of the roof extension using the rings placed face to face using the 2 shortest ropes
- Raise this bind tip until the roof extension is vertical. Position the second half structure flat on the deck, covering fabric towards the deck, under the base of the roof extension
- Fasten the base of the roof extension to the top part of the half structure using the rings placed face to face and the shortest ropes provided with the roof extension
- Fasten all the ropes, on each side on the 2 half structures using shorter ropes first ,starting from the top
- Raise the base of the roof extension until it is horizontal by gradually spreading the 2 half structures until the ropes on both sides are taut.
- Attach the structure firmly to the deck of the boat using your ropes and the 4 rings at the base of the structure. Attach ropes to all the rings located on the side of the structure and the roof to ensure maximum stability.
> Installation on deck of a SkyFlat model structure:
Unfold and inflate the structure on the bridge and attach your ropes using the 4 rings at the 4 corners of the structure to cleats so that the structure cannot move on the deck
Slide installation
- Unfold SkyFlat or the half structure chosen as a slide on the deck. The use as a slide is not possible if the cover fabric is micro-perforated.
- Gradually inflate the half structure to the operating pressure value - information printed near by the inflation valve - or until the relief valve is triggered if there is no operating pressure information.
- Attach your ropes to the rings at the top of the structure to cleats on the deck, first deck only; slide use from any upper deck than the first deck is strictly forbidden.
- Gradually lower the half structure over the railing until the bottom of the half structure touches the water.
- Check that the top of the half structure rests on the deck and that the base of the half structure rests on the water. Warning: if this configuration is not possible, you cannot use the half structure as a slide.
- Tighten your ropes firmly to ensure that the half structure cannot in any case move from its attached position resting on the deck of the boat. If you feel that the half structure attached by its top is not sufficiently stable on the water, add and stretch additional rope from the rings available on the side of the half structure to some cleats on the bridge.
Storage
- Rinse the structure / half structure with fresh water if it was used as a slide; rinse the valves. You can clean the structure / half structure using soapy water (Marseille soap only)
- The half structures, the fabrics, the roof extension and the ropes must be dry before storing them
- Gradually deflate the half structures and the roof extension (open the inflation valve and push the trigger in the center to release the air)
- Remove the cushion cover fabrics and side fabrics (if cushion cover fabrics have been positioned)
- Detach the carabiners and the ropes positioned on the rings
- Untie the mooring lines that hold the bases of the structure to the boat
- Remove the cushion cover fabrics and side fabrics (if they have been positioned)
- Fold each half structure, the fabrics, the roof extension and the ropes and store them in their bags
