Your boat - Your project
Define your project
-
Define the dimensions of the structure
-
Choose the material and color of the PVC fabric covering the structure
-
Optional accessories: choose a covering, side fabrics or a roof extension
Note that after purchasing your structure, in a second step, you will be able to buy additional cover fabrics and side fabrics or a roof extension to change the color of your structure or improve your experience.
1. Define the dimensions of the structure
You must provide 4 measurements in centimeters AB, AC, L and H i.e.:
- AB: the dimension of the structure at the front, at the deck level
- AC: the dimension of the length connecting the ends of the structure on the side, at deck level
- L: the dimension of the structure in its largest width (for SkyFlat: L=AB)
- H: the height in the middle of the structure (for SkyFlat: H=0 cm)
One of the diagrams below will help you take the dimensions of your structure depending on the model you have chosen
- use the arrow to the right or left of the image to switch from one model to another
- click on an image to enlarge it
Note: if you decide to add the roof extension option (see below), the final length of the structure on the bridge is increased by 2 meters compared to the dimensions that you must communicate here (the bottom [AB] and [CD] of the structure is 2 meters further away when the roof extension option is added).
Attention:
- The measures to be communicated correspond to the measurements taken at the ends of the structure; the buyer must take into consideration that the diameter of the uprights of the structure measures approximately 50 centimeters, which reduces the space available under the structure, on the deck and in height, in relation to the measurements communicated.
- Dimensions to be taken into account for slide use and slide slope: the dimensions H and AC for the SkyTrek, SkyFall and SkyShield models actually define the length of the slide; it is equal to: square root of [(HxH)+(ACxAC/4)]. Furthermore, a slope between 30 and 40 degrees is recommended for slide use; the length of the slide is then linked to the height of the freeboard of the boat (height of the first deck) and the slope by the formula: for 30 degrees: slide length = freeboard height x 2, for 40 degrees: slide length = freeboard height x 1.56. The parameters H and AC must be adjusted to ensure a 30 to 40 degrees slope.
- For each model, the dimensions AB, AC, L and H must respect the limits indicated on the plan of the chosen model
2. Choose the color and material of the PVC fabric covering the structure
The PVC cover fabric is independant and cover the inflated part. This design feature allows you to change the color of your structure. After a structure order, you can buy single PVC cover fabrics suitable for your structure.
The SkyTrek, SkyFall and SkyShield models consist of 2 half structures assembled together to form the final structure you defined. You can choose a different material and color for each of the PVC cover fabric of the half structures if you wish.
For the SkyFlat model, you can only choose one color and material for the PVC cover fabric when ordering.
You have the choice between
- 28 colors for "slick" PVC cover fabrics; this is the type of fabric that you absolutely must choose if you plan to use a half structure as a slide.
To view the colors, use the arrows to scroll through the images and click to enlarge.
- 5 colors for micro-perforated PVC fabrics; this is the type of fabric to be preferred if you plan to use your structure as a gazebo since this fabric allows better air circulation and therefore better heat evacuation in summer.
Colors of the micro-perforated fabrics above from left to right: White, Navy Blue, Grey, Black and Almond
Material samples of each color for the 2 types of PVC fabric are sent to you if you order a structure study; the colors displayed on the screen are not contractual.
3. Optional accessories (you can purchase these items in a second step): cushion fabric coverings, side fabrics, roof extension
The structure's covering fabric is made of PVC. If you would like to have more choices of colors and a visual effect different from PVC when you use the structure as a gazebo, we offer the option of covering the structure with a cushion fabric compatible with outdoor use on a boat. This option gives you a choice of 68 different colors for the cushion fabrics. The cushion fabric covering is removable and is superimposed on the slick or micro-perforated PVC cover fabric. The cushion fabric covering must be installed on the structure before inflating it. You must remove the cushion fabric covering if you want to use the structure as a slide; the structure will therefore have to be partially deflated to remove the cushion fabric covering and then reinflated.
If you have chosen a SkyTrek, SkyFall or SkyShield model, you can optionally add side fabrics. The benefit of the side fabric is to protect you from the sun coming from the side. Note: neither the side fabrics nor the roof extension option are available with the SkyFlat model.
The side fabrics are made with the same micro-perforated PVC fabrics as those described in the previous chapter or they are made with a cushion fabric (see above). If you choose to buy side fabrics, they will be of the same color for both fabrics. The side fabrics are adapted to your structure, they are maintained thanks to the rings available on the side of the structure and are supplied with fastening systems.
